Alain Kohl, BSc. in Sport, Fitness and Coaching

Alain started his sportive career at the local diving club at the Coque when he was 7. After many national titles and international competitions, he transitioned into cliff/high diving in 2008. He was part of the very first Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2010. He was a full professional cliff diver from 2010 till 2012. From 2013, he was also working as a coach in parkour, freerunning, trampoline and diving. In 2014, after his first coaching license in fitness, he switched into group fitnessand personal coaching. Those jobs gave him the freedom to train for his cliff diving career. 


In 2015, Alain had serval injuries in cliff diving and could not compete at the World Championships because of those injuries. He spend the winter building muscle and strength, after that, the minor injuries were gone and he was able to have his best season in 2016. This started his passion for strength and conditioning.


In 2019 he finished the state certified coaching license for fitness, strength and conditioning in Austria. In 2025 he also finished his BSc in sport, fitness and coaching at the Open University in the UK. Through his career, Alain had many different injuries but always fought his way back into the elite level of cliff diving. He stopped his competitive career in 2023. Since then, he is focussing on his skill development as a coach and sportscientist. The desire to understand biomechanics, training and human movement have always been key points for him to be the best possible athlete and coach.


His biggest goal is to share his passion for movement.
