Roundtable biomechanics in sports

März findet die internationale Jahrestagung Kindersportmedizin der Gesellschaft für Pädiatrische Sportmedizin GPS im MUDAM, Museum für zeitgenössische Kunst, in Luxemburg statt. Interpersonal violence and safeguarding in sport
You are cordially invited to the next lecture on 24 September at 17:30 in the amphitheatre of “d'Coque”. The event is free to attend and registration is not required. Nina Sølvberg works as a researcher at the Department of Sports Medicine and the Child and Youth Sport Research Center at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences (NIH). She holds a Ph.D. in sport sciences, focusing on sexual harassment and abuse among adolescents. Nina has an athletic background as a national team athlete and coach in wheel gymnastics. Nina will be talking about interpersonal violence, namely physical-, psychological-, sexual violence and neglect in sports. How prevalent is it, what are the risk factors and consequences, and what can we do to prevent and address violence in sport? The lecture will be organised by the Société Luxembourgeoise de Médecine du Sport (slms.lu). It will be given in English and is open to the general public. The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A session. We hope to see you there! Attendance at the presentation is free and registration is not required.
